The Writer's Block

Scott Whitmore has clearly done it again. The author of "Carpathia" follows suit with "A Devil's Harvest," another stand-alone novel of intrigue and horror with a single question: What if? What if WWII went in another direction? What if key players in the Alliance and Central Powers were different? And most of all, what if both sides had another weapon of mass destruction? Not chemical weapons, not explosives or artillary, but the undead. Yes, I said undead. Vampires and zombies under military control? The possibilities are endless. Mr. Whitmore gives a thrilling, and different, point of view that I enjoyed immensely and the best part is that it is only .99 on amazon.com. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did. Great job, Scott.  http://www.amazon.com/Devils-Harvest-Carpathia-Timeline-ebook/dp/B00AFOIWA6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1378001783&sr=8-1&keywords=scott+whitmore

Oh, so much has been happening, and although it has kept me from my post here, I haven't forgotten you. I FINALLY finished my book, Balance on the Terra. It is the first in a series depicting how life might have been if the world of magic coincided with the dawn of mankind. There is a lot of excitement in the characters, and I will be giving you insights on each of them as time goes on. Book 2 is in the works, as far as notes go. As for book 1, it is now on Amazon as an e-book. I had a free day for it the day after Memorial Day, and it was a smashing success. 106 books were downloaded! I wanted to do that in memory of my late husband who was a veteran of the Korean conflict, and was thrilled at the response. I would love it if you all would read it and give me your feedback. http://t.co/962tFNpMJ0

Yea, I admit it. I hear voices in my head. I daydream being on a great quest with a kinder, a dwarf and a great wizard to who knows where for who knows what. I attempt, whats the word, yea, improvisation of a fantasy situation. Asking my son or fiance what we will do if the ogres do invade our village. Sometimes it works, other times they look at me like I need another Citalipram.  I wake up at all hours of the night writing in an illegable writing in a notebook in the dark. I spend hours planning all of the details and mapping it all out for the next morning only to scrap it all with a new route in the story. I forget whether or not I had eaten because the characters in the story just had a major meal and I think I did too. I do without sleep to write until the loved ones remind me that 48 hours is a bit too much to sit at a keyboard in one stretch. I have woke up with keyboard face with the end of the last sentence being nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnmmmmmmmmm.........  The writer lives i...
